3D Starstrike was released in late 1984 for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K by Realtime Games Software Limited. In 1985 they ported it to the Amstrad CPC.

The game play was pretty much the same as the Star Wars arcade machine except the addition of the reactor sequence. There were four stages in total - The Approach, The Surface, The Equatorial Duct and The Reactor. Once completed you would loop back to start the process again but with the difficulty level increased.
